Cultural Entrepreneurship
Celebrating Connection, Culture & Community: Tinā ma Tama’ita’i (Capability & Entrepreneurship)

At Falelalaga, we believe in creating spaces where women can come together, connect with one another and celebrate culture, community and wellbeing. Our Tinā ma Tama’ita’i programme provides a welcoming space for women to learn practical skills, explore creativity and develop capabilities that can support personal growth and future opportunities.
The programme brings women together through shared experiences, conversation, creativity and hands-on learning.
A Space to Connect

Tinā ma Tama’ita’i is more than just a weekly programme. It is an opportunity to build friendships, strengthen community connections and enjoy time with other women while learning new skills.
Our sessions encourage participants to come together, share their experiences and take part in activities that promote creativity, confidence, learning and wellbeing.
Whether you are looking to develop a new skill, reconnect with culture or simply spend time with other women in the community, there is a place for you at Tinā ma Tama’ita’i.
Learning, Sharing & Creating Together
The programme focuses on building practical capabilities through hands-on activities. Participants have the opportunity to learn skills that can be used at home, shared with others or potentially developed into future creative and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Activities include:
Baking
Sewing
Weaving
Elei
Other creative and cultural activities
These sessions provide a supportive environment where women can learn at their own pace, share knowledge and develop confidence in their abilities.

Building Capability & Entrepreneurship
Through practical learning, Tinā ma Tama’ita’i aims to give women opportunities to develop skills that can grow beyond the programme.
Learning how to bake, sew, weave and create Elei can provide participants with practical skills that may be used for personal projects, cultural events, gifts or future income-generating opportunities.
The programme encourages women to recognise and build on the skills they already have while learning new ones from others in the community.
Session Cost
Each Tinā ma Tama’ita’i session is $20 per person.
The session fee provides participants with the opportunity to take part in hands-on activities and develop practical skills in a supportive comm
unity environment.
