Falelalaga Homework Centre
A Safe Space to Learn, Connect and Grow
The Falelalaga Homework Centre provides a safe, supportive and welcoming space where children and young people can complete their schoolwork, build confidence and develop positive learning habits.
The programme is designed to support students from Years 0–13, providing an opportunity to receive guidance with their schoolwork while connecting with other students in the community.
Supporting Learning
Our Homework Centre gives students dedicated time to focus on their schoolwork in a structured environment.
Students can work through their homework, ask questions and receive support when they need it. The aim is to encourage students to becom
e more confident and independent learners while helping them stay on top of their school responsibilities.
A Place to Learn and Connect
Learning is not only about completing homework. It is also about creating an environment where students feel comfortable, encouraged and supported.
The Homework Centre provides an opportunity for students to:
Complete homework and school assignments
Develop better study habits
Build confidence in their learning
Connect with other students
Take part in educational activities
Students are encouraged to support one another and make the most of the time available to them.
Fun Activities & Games
We believe learning should also be enjoyable. Alongside homework support, students have the opportunity to take part in fun activities, group challenges and games.
These activities give students time to relax, socialise and have fun while developing teamwork, communication, creativity and problem-solving skills. Activities are adapted for different age groups so that everyone has the opportunity to participate and get involved.
Afternoon Tea Provided
We understand that students can work better when they have had something to eat. Afternoon tea is provided during each Homework Centre session, giving students an
opportunity to take a break, refuel and socialise before getting back to their learning.
